چکیده
Abstract Fused deposition modeling (FDM) provides a promising technique for the small-batch fabrication of highly customized objects. The required performance FDM far exceeds performances conventional manufacturing methods. However, temperature difference that occurs during generates internal stress, which causes warp deformation and affects formed sample quality. Hence, identifying influencing factors is key to improving forming quality samples. In this work, PEEK/short carbon fiber (CF) composites were prepared by using method, formula was derived, mechanism obtained. Results showed material linear expansion coefficient, chamber temperature, size had considerable effects on deformation. Moreover, CF could improve PEEK/CF because their low Poisson’s ratio high thermal conductivity. addition reduce residual stress addition, annealing tensile bending mechanical properties composites. Specifically, after 3 h heat treatment at 190 °C, reached 10.7% 11.6%, respectively. Crystallinity analysis revealed strongly depended crystallinity. High cooling rates associated with crystallinity, strengths, elastic moduli. DMA high-temperature resistance as reflected higher glass transition than pure PEEK resin. Porosity content tailor pore distribution. study reported here reference fabricated through FDM.

The application of fibers to reinforce cementitious materials is a well-known subject. At first, asbestos fibers are used in industrial process to produce fiber reinforced cement sheets. Thereafter, various types of synthetic fibers are produced and used as asbestos substitutes. The aim of the present work is to evaluate the effect of synthetic fibers on the flexural behavior of cementitious co...

Recently, geopolymer binders have been considered because of low cost, simple processes for synthesis and many raw materials in nature. Geopolymer with brittle nature does not have high strength and cannot be used alone for structural materials. Therefore, to use in different structures, the composite which is reinforced with fibers such as carbon, glass, basalt, etchasbeen used. In this resear...

Fractured abutment screws may be replaced; however, sometimes, the screw cannot be removed and the entire implant must be surgically removed and replaced. The aim of this study was to compare the fracture resistance of abutment retention screws made of titanium, polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and 30% carbon fiber-reinforced PEEK, using an external hexagonal implant/UCLA-type abutment interface ass...
